Diary Three: Views of New York - March 6, 2021
Here are some of my favorite pictures that I took.
Because of what's been happening in the world, and because of the state I am in, I haven't been able to go out often. Which is why I try to make the most of it when I am able to do so.
These were taken down a walk in Brooklyn. As you may know, NYC is my hometown (or home city rather) and I haven't really had the chance to see much of it. I'm 21 years old, and because of the state of my health, since I was a child, I was quite sheltered. So getting out now feels like a sense of freedom that I never felt before.
I didn't visit the cafe, but it was quite pleasing to photograph. I'd like to come back to visit one day, and see if the coffee is like how I imagine it might be. There are quite a lot of places that I haven't gotten to go, and maybe once I feel safe enough, I can truly be a tourist in my own city.
Down more streets in Brooklyn. I couldn't for the life of me tell you exactly where we were, but it was nice being somewhere unfamiliar. It gave me the sense of yearning and wonder that has been so absent in my life in the past two years.
